Packaging
Appropriate materials should be selected to store hydrogen peroxide. Generally speaking, plastic containers (such as polyethylene, polypropylene) or glass containers are more commonly used. Storage
1. Separate storage: Hydrogen peroxide should be stored separately from flammable, explosive, reducing agents, acids, alkalis and other substances, and should not be mixed. Because hydrogen peroxide is a strong oxidant, contact with these substances may cause violent chemical reactions, causing dangerous accidents such as combustion and explosion.
2. Limited storage: According to actual use needs, the storage volume of hydrogen peroxide should be strictly controlled, and it is not advisable to stockpile in large quantities. If the storage volume is too large, it may cause serious consequences in the event of an accident.
3. Anti-leakage measures: Storage sites should be equipped with anti-leakage facilities, such as cofferdams and collection tanks in the storage area. Once hydrogen peroxide leaks, the leaked liquid can be collected to prevent it from spreading and causing greater harm. At the same time, corresponding emergency treatment equipment and protective supplies, such as adsorbent materials, neutralizers, protective gloves, goggles, etc., should be equipped so that they can be handled in time in the event of leaks and other accidents.
